About Me

An Old Dog
San Adreas Cholula, Puebla, Mexico

My name is John. I'm an old dog originally from NYC, who now lives outside of Puebla, Mexico.

I am the outstanding, universally acknowledged authority on the experience of living my own life. Other than that, I have picked up a few things along the way which I am happy to share with anyone who is interested.

I HAVE turned my life around, so I know it can be done. At 54, I'm not young, so I also know that this turnaround trick is something even an old dog can master.

I've set up this blog to try to build community among those who in their middle years feel a strong desire to make meaningful changes in their lives, but may, at the same time, worry that it is "too late" or that they are stuck with life-as-it-is.

I think there is value in looking seriously at these assumptions. And I believe this can be done with humor and attitude.

If you are traveling down this road, pull over and set a spell. I'd love to hear what other old dogs out there have dug up along the way.

Welcome
